5. Kirschblütenfest in Meerbusch

Am Sonntag, den 27.04.2025, feierte die Stadt Meerbusch mit dem Freundeskreis Meerbusch-Shijonawate das 5. Kirschblütenfest in Meerbusch-Büderich.

Nachdem der Bürgermeister mit dem japanischen Generalkonsul und der Vorsitzenden des Freundeskreises, Yurie Takagi, das Fest mit dem traditionellen Aufschlagen eines Sakefässchens eröffnet hatte, wurde ein buntes Programm auf der Bühne und den Ständen rund um den Park des Meerbades geboten. Wir waren auch wie schon in den letzten Jahren wieder mit einem Stand vertreten. Hinter unserem Pavillon hatten wir auf einem abgesperrten Platz Gelegenheit, unsere Künste am Makiwara vorzuführen. Die Sonne lachte und bei leichtem Wind gab es ein reges Interesse, aber es war nicht überfüllt, sodass wir auch Zeit fanden, uns auf dem Gelände umzusehen und alte und neue Freunde zu begrüßen.
