Kyudo-Bundesliga-Endrunde in Frankfurt – Erkrather haben die Nase vorn

Nachdem die erste Mannschaft des Kyudovereins Neandertal „Mokkei“ mit Johannes Maringer, Günther Dauner, Reinhard Kollotzek und Volker Bruckmann die Vorrunde der Bundesliga mit einem erfreulichen 4. Platz abschließen konnte, war sie für die Endrunde der besten zehn Mannschaften, die am 10.11. in Frankfurt/Main stattfand, qualifiziert. An der Bundesliga beteiligten sich insgesamt 76 Mannschaften aus Kyudovereinen, die dem Deutschen Kyudo-Bund angeschlossen sind. Der Abschlusswettbewerb für die besten Mannschaften fand in diesem Jahr zum ersten Mal statt.

Nach einem eher schwachen Start im ersten von drei Durchgängen konnten sich Johannes Maringer, Günther Dauner und Reinhard Kollotzek kontinuierlich steigern, so dass im letzten Durchgang elf von zwölf Pfeilen das Ziel fanden. Dadurch verwies „Mokkei“ die Mannschaften der Vereine Kyudo Offenbach (Hessen) und Kyudojo Waldeck (Mecklenburg-Vorpommern) mit vier bzw. fünf Treffern Vorsprung auf die Plätze zwei und drei.
