3 neue Danträger im Kyudoverein Neandertal

Mitte Juli fanden die Lehrgänge und Prüfungen der Internationalen Kyudo Federation in Polen, Deutschland und Frankreich statt. Eine hohe Zahl von Teilnehmern zeigte das Interesse der Europäer an der Kunst des japanischen Bogenschießens.
3 Teilnehmer des Kyudoverein Neandertal aus Erkrath können sich über bestandene Prüfungen und den nächsten Dangrad freuen.
Kieko Shibata-Petermann und Olaf Koch erreichten den 2. Dan, Robert Knauf den 3. Dan.

Wegen der hohen Teilnehmerzahl waren die Lehrgänge und Prüfungen auf drei Länder verteilt. In Posen und Frankfurt waren die Prüfungen mit einem dreitägigen Lehrgang verbunden, in Paris wurde nur die Prüfungsteilnahme angeboten.

Unter der Leitung von drei hochrangigen Lehrern aus dem Heimatland dieser Kunst übten über 450 Schützen die Bewegungsform und das Schießen. Bei den höheren Graden ist der vorgeschriebene Bewegungsablauf – vergleichbar mit einer Shintozeremonie – so wichtig, dass selbst bei einem Treffer die Prüfung nicht bestanden wird.
So wurde kein 6. Dan und nur 1 Renshititel vergeben.
